Hosts Audrey & John Ritter were residents of Eltham for 20 years. They enjoyed the rural accent on outer suburban living. However, they craved for even more country in their lifestyle. So, they relocated to Panton Hill and have now lived in the area for over a decade. Originally, the cottage was a permanent home for their son and his partner until they married, in 2006, and moved away. As a result, the idea of Moss-Glen on Panton Hill was conceived. It is now a beautifully-situated bed and breakfast rural retreat, surrounded by bushland yet close to many interesting attractions. Audrey and John enjoy welcoming their visitors, knowing that the relaxing atmosphere and surrounding bushland are a great way to escape from the hustle and stress of daily urban life. |

The kitchen is brand new with stove, oven and microwave, fridge, cookware, crockery, cutlery and the outdoor barbeque assures a pleasant and quiet stay. The cottage is in a garden setting of natural bushland, and the area is a haven for numerous species of native birds including Crimson Rosellas, Rainbow Lorikeets, King Parrots, Bell Birds, Sulphur Crested, Yellow-tailed Black & Gang-Gang Cockatoo’s, Galahs and, of course our resident pair of Kookaburra’s. The flowering gums and Grevilea’s provide homes for a wide variety of small birds within the garden. |
